Leads a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective execution of procurement activities.
Builds strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
Drives cost savings initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract management.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Field Operations, to ensure alignment in procurement activities.
Monitors supplier performance and establish performance metrics for evaluation.
Stays informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provides open and timely communication about challenges or changes to the right teams.
Forecasts, anticipates, and prepares for growth.
Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or a related field preferred; or a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive cost savings without compromising quality.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.
Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
Familiarity with procurement software solutions is an advantage.
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
